Security Architect

We are growing our multidisciplinary Architecture team and looking for the best talents to help us defining the future architecture model to support businesses ambitions.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise security architecture to support and integrate security controls across existing and new systems being introduced across the organization.
• Work closely with the business and technology stakeholders to actively contribute and pull together security requirements for new projects.

• Design solutions that support organizational strategic objectives while considering usability and operational efficiency and supportability.
• Produce high level designs against a defined set of technical and non-technical security requirements and collaborate with engineering functions to develop low-level designs.
• Define and maintain an accurate representation of current technology and new technology integration state for the security domain.
• Own, maintain and communicate security principles that drive all major architectural designs ensuring consistency in how security is embedded into solutions across the organization.
• Work closely with all vertically aligned architects and engineers to ensure the design approach at a high and low level is consistent.
• Be part of the Architecture Centre of Excellence. Actively contribute and support the development and growth of the overall architectural capability through a security lens.
• Where required act as the Technical Design Authority during implementation and post implementation activities to help navigate engineering challenges the require deviations from the original architectural design.
• Act as subject matter expert on IT Security technology solutions, and available solutions in the market place or developed in house to meet business needs.
• Be comfortable working with commercial and open-source security technologies.
• Proactively run workshops for knowledge sharing of Security solutions across the Architecture team, Engineering, Operations and Information Security.
• Establish strong working relationships with CIO leadership, Engineering teams, business stakeholders, Architecture, Operations and Corporate teams across the organization.

Requirements

• Experience designing security solutions for on-prem and cloud.
• Experience defining and embedding Threat Modelling frameworks across architectural teams.
• Deep understanding of Information Security solutions and controls.
• Understanding of Security frameworks such as Cloud Security Framework (CSF), Centre for Internet Standards (CIS).
• Proven solution design and implementation experience across multiple security IT Domains.
• Understanding of DevSecOp’s tooling stack and best practices. Knowledge of how to implement security throughout CI/CD pipelines and containers.
• Experience supporting the evaluation of new products and vendors during formal and informal processes.
• Experience in ownership of security led projects or acting as key contributor, and participation in non-security led project activities.
• Forward thinking, keep up to date with emerging technologies which could support the organization in the future.
• Be comfortable in constructively challenging the status quo.
• Feeling comfortable working with different teams, functions and managing stakeholder expectations at all levels.
• Excellent verbal and presentation skills, able to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience designing solutions for Private Cloud (OpenStack), Public Cloud (Google GCP, AWS), Multi Cloud and Hybrid setup focused on Security.
• Ability to work within a matrix management structure
