Delivery Squad Team Lead

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced leader, responsible for leading a cross-functional web development team in delivering high-quality digital assets. With a deep passion for technology and a results-driven approach, this individual will mentor and coach the team, ensuring that their work aligns with the company’s strategy, goals and objectives.

She/he will be in charge of deployment and uptime of applications. Will be responsible for leading and managing the team, overseeing deployment planning and execution, and ensuring application reliability. This includes automating deployment processes, managing release schedules, setting up monitoring systems and handling incident management to minimize downtime. The lead coordinates with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, drives continuous improvement in processes and maintains comprehensive documentation while ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Their role is pivotal in ensuring efficient deployment and stable application performance.


  • Team Leadership and Management. Lead and manage a team of developers and IT professionals. Provide guidance, mentorship and performance feedback.
  • Deployment Planning and Execution. Oversee the planning and execution of application deployment and ensure deployments are conducted efficiently and effectively.
  • Automation Implementation. Implement and maintain deployment automation tool and streamline the deployment process to reduce manual effort and errors.
  • Release Management. Manage release schedules and coordinate releases with relevant teams to ensure releases are executed in a controlled and timely manner.
  • Monitoring and Performance Tracking. Set up and maintain monitoring systems to track application performance and uptime and Use monitoring data to proactively address potential issues. Responsible to manage availability commitments.
  • Incident Management and Resolution. Lead the response to application incidents and outages. Diagnose issues and coordinate with the team to resolve problems quickly. Collaborate closely with the production support team on the problem management.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Documentation and Compliance. Maintain thorough documentation of deployment processes, configurations, and incident responses and ensure all activities comply with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage the team’s workload to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Regularly communicate with the Head of Engineering to provide progress updates, report any issues and seek guidance when necessary.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to the team’s operations and activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the team’s performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and support to help the team members reach their full potential.


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology or equivalent.
  • +4 years of experience as a web developer. Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • +5 years proven experience in leading and managing technical teams. Ability to plan, coordinate and execute projects effectively.
  • Experience in using deployment automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible or Terraform.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or Splunk.
  • Experience with Git/Bitbucket and with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Knowledge of NextJS, ExpressJS and Python.
  • Experience in Problem-Solving and Incident Management. Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly. Experience in managing incidents and leading response efforts to minimize downtime.
  • Experience in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of HTML5/CSS3, jQuery, and Responsive Design.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and find solutions to problems independently. Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of web application development frameworks and CMSs, such as Laravel and WordPress.
  • Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google Marketing Platform, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google AdWords, Google Search Console, etc.
  • Proficiency in English at an intermediate to advanced level. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and team members.
